Witney Carson

Witney Carson was born on October 17, 1993, in American Fork, Utah. At the tender age of three, she began dancing, starting with training in tap and jazz, then eventually extending to ballet, hip-hop, and ballroom styles. Over time, her ability to work well across many dance forms, including contemporary, lyrical, Latin, and standard ballroom, has been developed through years of disciplined training and competition. 

Personal Life 

Witney married her high school sweetheart, Carson McAllister, on January 1, 2016. They have two sons, Leo born in January 2021 and Jet, born May 2023. 

Carson occasionally took breaks from her professional dance career to focus on family but remains active in dance and entertainment.  

Career Beginnings and Breakthrough 

Carson gained national attention as a Top 6 finalist (Top 3 female) on Season 9 of Fox's "So You Think You Can Dance." She returned the following season as an all-star, demonstrating her remarkable technical and performance quality.

Dancing with the Stars (DWTS) 

Witney began on "Dancing with the Stars" as a troupe dancer in Seasons 16 and 17. In Season 18, she was promoted to professional partner, dancing with singer Cody Simpson. She won Season 19 partnered with Alfonso Ribeiro, making her one of the few to win quickly after becoming a pro.
