Rachel Lynn Matthews

Rachel Lynn Matthews was born on October 25, 1993, in Los Angeles, California, to actress Leslie Landon and Brian Matthews. Raised in an acting family, Matthews began her interest in the performing arts through Shirley Temple movies. She started taking tap and voice lessons and was part of a local theater program by age 10. Matthews later attended New York University's Tisch School of the Arts for acting, where she also befriended actress Camila Mendes and musician Maggie Rogers. 

Love Life and Relationships 

Rachel Lynn Matthews is extremely private regarding her romantic life, and no relationship of hers has ever been confirmed. Recently, there was a stir over her Halloween appearance as Katy Perry with Orlando Bloom, but there is no confirmation of a romantic relationship. No relationship has surfaced, and Matthews appears to maintain much focus on her career, with personal boundaries intact.

Acting Career 

Matthews debuted in the film industry in 2017 with the role of Danielle Bouseman in the horror-comedy movie "Happy Death Day," directed by her uncle Christopher Landon. She reprised this role in the 2019 sequel "Happy Death Day 2U." Her notable film credits also include "Ms. White Light" (2019), the voice role of Honeymaren in Disney's "Frozen II" (2019), "Tankhouse" (2022), "Do Revenge" (2022), "The Duel" (2023), and "Upgraded" (2024), where she also served as executive producer. 

On television, Matthews has played Magpie in "Batwoman" (2019-2020) and Fiona in Hulu’s "Looking for Alaska" (2019), along with a guest appearance in "Overcompensating" (2025). 

Voice Work 

Extending her talent to voice acting, Matthews lent her voice to the character Honeymaren in the blockbuster animated film "Frozen II", which was released in 2019 and showed her versatility across different media of entertainment.

Production Roles 

Along with acting, Matthews has assumed production duties. She was the executive producer for "Upgraded" in 2024 and producer for "Griffin in Summer" in 2024 and "Idiotka" in 2025.

Personal Highlights 

In March 2020, Matthews made a public announcement of having tested positive for COVID-19, embracing transparency amidst the pandemic. She has modeled and also appeared in several music videos, including notably dancing in Maggie Rogers' "Give A Little." She remains active in her diverse career across the entertainment industry.
