Paul Scheuring, aka Paul T. Scheuring, is a film and television director and screenwriter from the United States. His works include the 2003 movie A Man Apart and the development of the television series Prison Break, for which he served as executive producer and head writer.

Paul was born November 20, 1968, in Aurora, Illinois, United States. His parents were both Americans, and he is of Caucasian ancestry. Paul, however, has not disclosed his family background on social platforms. So far, he has earned a bachelor's degree in theater, film, and television from UCLA.

Then, he made Lost, and after twenty months, it was released by FOX. For the Lost series, he gained worldwide fame and won the 2006 People's Choice Award, and was nominated for Best Drama Television series at the Golden Globe Awards.

Scheuring has also started filming AR2, a drama he co-created with Thomas Schlamme, the director and executive producer of The West Wing. He's also the producer of Masterwork, a Fox and 20th TV drama pilot script, and the Inferno-produced film The Experiment.

In October 2019, Paul was named executive producer and new showrunner for Season 3 of Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan franchise.
