Born on April 10, 1986, in Detroit, Michigan, Lemuel grew up among a family heavily involved in media production. His parents owned and operated several television stations, such as the Christian Television Network. This setting exposed him early in life to the media industry. He studied formally at Sail University, obtaining a degree in Entertainment Business, which laid the bedrock for his professional sojourn. 

Personal Life and Relationships  

Lemuel's personal life includes his marriage to Janeisha Johnson, a former Miss US Virgin Islands Universe 2010, whom he married in 2017 after a long relationship starting from high school.

Career and Achievements 

Lemuel's early career included intern and production assistant positions in television, notably on the Emmy Award-winning show "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition." At the age of 21, he sold his first show and went on to work with major networks such as BET and Oxygen on hit shows like "The Mo'Nique Show," "The Family Crews," and the runaway hit series "Preachers of LA." He founded L. Plummer Media at the age of 25, producing numerous reality and entertainment shows, including "Preachers of Detroit," "Living with Funny," and "Music Moguls."

Entrepreneurship and Zeus Network 

In 2018, Lemuel founded the Zeus Network, a subscription-based video streaming service that focuses on reality TV content that showcases Black culture. The network boasts marquee shows, including "Joseline's Cabaret," "The Real Blac Chyna," and the "Baddies" series, among others, attracting hundreds of millions of viewers each month. He is CEO of the network, leading content programming and strategic growth while positioning the network as a leader in digital entertainment. 

Philanthropy 

Lemuel has founded the Plummer Foundation, a charity to assist underprivileged kids in Detroit, showing a commitment to social responsibility and community support.

He has executive-produced and directed a number of projects, including "Smile: LA" (2024), "Two Ways with Erica Mena" (2025), and "Bobby I Love You, Purrr" (2022).
