Han Jisung

Han Jisung was born on September 14, 2000, in Incheon, South Korea, and relocated to Mokpo at an infant age. His family later moved to Malaysia when he was nine, and he attended Fairview International School for a brief time before homeschooling. This global upbringing broadened his perspective and advanced his proficiency in English, which would serve him in the future when communicating with fans globally. 

Han returned to South Korea when he was 14 years old to pursue a career as a musician, committing to continuing formal education in Malaysia if he did not make it within one year. It was a gamble since he auditioned for JYP Entertainment and became a trainee, setting the stage for a life of K-pop. 

Love Life 

Han keeps his love life private with no official confirmation of dating. Although fans normally would guess that he is in a relationship with Stray Kids member Lee Know, both of them made clear that they enjoy a close friends relationship only. Han keeps his work and personal development as priorities while keeping his love life shrouded in secrecy to remain humble and professional.

Education 

Aside from his trainee life, Han devoted himself to learning by taking and preparing for the Korean Qualification Exam (GED). He refined his singing, rap, and dancing at the Def Music Academy in Gangnam. 

Later on, he learned about performance and broadcast entertainment at Gukje Cyber University, which has helped him become a versatile artist in the show business.  

Music Career 

Han's music career began professionally in 2016 when he formed the hip-hop trio 3Racha with fellow trainees Bang Chan and Changbin. The three did mixtapes on SoundCloud, which illustrated their songwriting and production abilities before their official debut. Han became a member of the survival program "Stray Kids" in 2017, when he was targeted for his singing and rapping talents and was selected to be included in the final roster of the boy group, which officially debuted in 2018 with the EP "I Am Not." 

Han is a main rapper, vocalist, and prolific songwriter and producer, having collaborated on over 170 tracks as of 2025. He is praised for his versatility in switching between assertive rap to melodic singing and has contributed significantly to creating Stray Kids' distinctive sound on the global K-pop stage. Han also took a break in 2019 to focus on mental health and emphasizes awareness and concern for the same. Han became a mental health anti-stigma ambassador in Korea in 2025, using his position to advocate for awareness and help-seeking for the same.

As a member of Stray Kids, Han has been involved in various achievements, including receiving awards during the Mnet Asian Music Awards and Asia Artist Awards. He won the Good Creator Award in 2023 for individual accolades in songwriting and production.

Other than Stray Kids, Han has composed and produced theme songs for other television series like "Pop Out Boy!" and "Tower of God."
