It is unlikely that any movie enthusiast hasn't heard of him, or hasn't been completely enamored by the roles he plays so passionately. Robert De Niro, an actor, director, and businessman, is a living legend. In a career spanning over six decades, Robert has starred in an estimated 144 films.  

Born Robert Anthony De Niro Jr on August 17, 1943, in Manhattan, his rise to fame wasn't an overnight feat, but a gradual process that took years. Niro's work started to get attention around the 70s when the actor and director Martin Scorses kick-started their journey to become the iconic cinematic duo.

Robert's love life is a flaring headline again as the Oscar winner welcomes his seventh son- at 79. The Raging Bull actor's dating history is a testament to his hopeless romantic at heart. Anyone who has closely followed De Niro's journey is well aware of his peculiar penchant for black or inter-racial women. 

Alongside his busy career, Robert has had quite an active dating career. The Godfather II actor was fast emerging as a splendid actor when he courted actress Diahnne Abbott in the 70s. The pair, who met on the sets of Taxi Driver, quickly tied the knot in 1976 and enjoyed twelve years of blissful married life. 

Robert and Abbott welcomed a son during their decade-long nuptial, and a love-struck Robert also adopted Diahne's daughter from her previous relationship. The twosome finalized their divorce in 1988 but remain as close as any amicable ex-partners.

Dating Life after his first Marriage: De Niro

The Academy winner's next notable relationship came at the heels of his divorce. De Niro started dating model Toukie Smith in 1988 and remained together till 1996, during which the pair welcomed twin sons via a surrogate.   

Although not many know about it; the Irishman actor also dated model Naomi Campbell for a couple of years in the 90s. The former low-profile couple remains close. Despite his busy love life, the Oscar winner only ever walked down the aisle with two women.  

Who is Robert De Niro Married to Now?   

The Casino actor has had a hard time finding love. Robert was 75 when his enduring marriage with his second wife, Grace Hightower, ended in 2018. The pair had tied the knot in a whirlwind romance in 1997 and welcomed a son a year later.  

During their twenty-year-long nuptials, Robert and Grace were on and off, with the duo calling it quit in 1999, and reconciling after five years. Robert and actress Hightower welcomed a daughter in 2011 before ending it for good in 2018.  

Robert, 79, reputably known for keeping it cool with his exes, might not share the same bond with his soon-to-be ex-wife, Hightower, who is reportedly asking for half of De Niro's income in the settlement. As per their duo's signed prenup in place, Robert is obliged to pay Grace $1 million a year for alimony.  

In 2021, a judge ruled in favor of the actor, citing that whatever the actor earned during their marriage is his separate property, and Hightower is not to have a share in that. The duo's prenup states that Grace will have $6 million to purchase a home for her.  

79 now and soon to step into his 80s, Robert might be a second-time divorcee, but the actor's life is far from loveless. The two-time Academy winner has been linked with martial arts instructor, Tiffany Chen, since 2021. The rumored couple is yet to comment on the topic, but their many romantic getaways and PDA-packed appearances say it all.  

Robert De Niro Welcomed 7th Kid!   

The King of Comedy actor was dishing on his latest flick, About My Father, when he shared that he recently added a seventh to his large brood. When asked about his six kids, the Godfather actor said as he corrected the interviewer, "Seven, actually." De Niro provided no additional information.  

De Niro shares six kids with his multiple ex-partners. Beginning with his oldest daughter, Drena De Niro, 51, who Robert adopted when he married Diahnne Abbott. Drena is a woman of many talents. She is a model, actor, and DJ and has also dabbled in producing. Robert has one grandkid from Drena.  

The Academy winner and his then-wife, Abbott, welcomed their only biological child, son Raphael, 46, in November 1976. Raphael is a successful real estate agent and has a high-profile clientele. He is a doting father of three, making Robert a grandad to four.  

Robert and his ex-partner, Toukie, are co-parenting twin sons, Julian and Aaron, 27. While Julian has followed in his father's footsteps, starring in The First Lady, Dubious Battle, and more, his twin brother, Aaron, remains completely obsolete in Hollywood.

Robert and his second ex-wife, Grace, are parents to son Elliot, 24, and daughter Helen, 11. The Academy winner often candidly speaks of his fatherhood journey and his kids. In 2016, De Niro revealed that his fifth kid, Elliot, suffers from autism.  

The actor's youngest, Helen, born via surrogate in 2011, is being kept away from the limelight by her parents. De Niro's latest child's gender, name, and mama's identity remain a mystery, albeit many have linked the baby with Robert's rumored flame, Chen.
