Emman Atienza

Emmanuelle Hung Atienza was born on February 8, 2006, in Manila, Philippines, to Filipino TV personality Kim Atienza and Felicia Hung. She is the youngest of three children born into a culturally rich family. Emman grew up bilingual and pursued schooling from highly esteemed international schools like the Chinese International School Manila and International School Manila. She also attended an art and design summer course at Parsons School of Design in New York, reflecting her creative inclinations. 

Family and Personal Relationships 

She was the loving daughter of Kim Atienza, one of the most famous media personalities in the Philippines, which added to her public profile. 

Despite her fame and family background, she maintained a personal life centered on close relationships and meaningful connections, although specific romantic or other relationships were not publicly promoted.

Social Media Career and Public Image 

Emman became popular as an online influencer due to her engaging lifestyle content on TikTok and Instagram, with comedic skits and fashion interests. She was known online as the "Conyo Final Boss" due to her fluent command of the English language, her humor, and her relatable personality. 

She modeled at Farrah Models Philippines and was affiliated with GMA Network's influencer agency, Status by Sparkle. Through her work, she strongly resonated with a large youth base, turning her into an up-and-coming face within the sphere of Filipino influencers.

Mental Health Advocacy 

A big part of Emman's public persona was her candid and courageous openness regarding her mental health struggles. She had disclosed that she had bipolar disorder, complex PTSD, and ADHD with borderline and paranoid features. She also spoke of how painful it was to have been abused as a child by a nanny. 

Emman had founded the youth-led organization Mentality Manila, which fought stigma and created safe spaces for mental health conversations among Filipino youth. Her advocacy inspired several young followers to seek help and talk more openly about mental health. 

Personal Challenges and Health Struggles 

Emman's life was filled with personal setbacks. She reportedly attempted suicide in 2019 and faced a relapse in 2024, which drove up the need for therapy. She sought intensive psychiatric care and therapy, including time spent in Los Angeles for specialized treatment. Despite her struggles, Emman was dedicated to creating awareness and helping others who have been plagued by these issues.  

Interests and Hobbies 

Emman had lived an active and multifaceted life beyond social media, and she loved gymnastics, ballet, rock climbing, free diving, and swimming. 

Her athletic pursuits earned her medals in gymnastics competitions. Her interest in design, art, and fashion was also obvious from her social media content and modeling work.  

Tragic Death and Legacy 

On October 22, 2025, Emman tragically died by suicide at her home in Santa Monica, California, at the age of 19. Her death was deeply mourned by fans, family, and the online community. Her wake took place in the Philippines in early November 2025, reflecting her lasting impact and the love of the Filipino people. Emman's legacy remains in her advocacy work and the ongoing conversations she helped spark around mental health, particularly among young people.
